This beautiful handwrought Aguilar “Hector Aguilar” bracelet is an iconic design, featured on page 104

of Morrill and Berk’s book Mexican Silver.

 

He called this particular design “Lyre.”

 

He is the one who invented the three ball swivel hinge design between the links.
Crafted of 940 sterling silver, higher purity than the sterling standard,

it is comprised of 8 lyrical links alternating with a triple bead detail.

 

Hallmarked “Taxco, 940,” and the Aguilar’s “HA” logo

Measures Approximately 7 inches long by 1/2 inch wide, with a safety chain snap in box clasp

Total Approx. Weight 49 grams dwt31
