Chanel Novelty Company wasn’t in business under this name for very long because they were sued by Coco Chanel for trademark infringement and they had to stop using the name. As a matter of fact, jewelry was produced for one season only, in the Spring of 1941. As a result, there were few pieces made with this mark, making them rare and highly desirable.
